CST’s partnership with Fike and CTI will provide the ultimate comprehensive dust explosion solutions for compliance with the new regulation for Combustible Dust, NFPA 652. The new combustible dust standard mandates full compliance by October 2018. The new regulation covers a wide range of types of combustible dust used in many application areas across just about all the major industrial and agricultural markets.
“Accidental dust explosions can lead to significant damage in operations and production. Preventing such events from occurring and reducing their magnitude if they happen, requires a good understanding of what a dust explosion can do. This partnership with Fike and CTI will enable us to offer comprehensive services to ensure the safety of our customers, their personnel and operations,” stated Tom DeDonder, VP of Construction for CST Industries.
“Backed by 125 years of storage tank legacy, we are the #1 supplier in North America for silos in these applications. Customers choose CST for our market leading product portfolio along with our highly capable and experienced team members. This new partnership extends that capability and ensures that we are providing our loyal customers with top level service, innovative solutions and nearly two centuries of combined experienced,” DeDonder adds.
