The platform previously contained only a basic buying and selling format; however the upgrade will allow users to personalize the way they manage surplus assets online.
Through MyEquipNet users can, for the first time, access visual and data driven analysis of what they have purchased and sold. Furthermore, each user will now have his/her own customized home page, meaning that relevant content will feed directly through to it.
Offers made on MarketPlace items and bids made at auction events will be stored and listed on MyEquipNet, in addition to all other activity. Invoices and the status of each order will be available to buyers, whilst sellers have the advantage of a detailed summary of sales to date and an inventory status.
Ben Potenza, VP of Marketing at EquipNet, commented: “We are excited that this important and innovative upgrade will further benefit the used equipment industry. MyEquipNet now allows users full control over both their previous and current sales and purchases, while the introduction of personalized homepages will allow users to view relevant content without the need to conduct in depth searches. We are always looking to improve the way companies manage their surplus assets, and this is demonstrated through the latest expansion of the MyEquipNet platform.”
