About the Event

To develop solutions for the challenges in protection and control technology for the secure grids of tomorrow, the Power Engineering Society within VDE (VDE ETG) and the Forum for Network Technology/Network Operation within VDE (VDE FNN) organize the “Protection and Control Technology” conference every two years.

National and international experts in protection and control technology, as well as specialists from the field of power electronics and manufacturers of generation plants, present current results and future developments in lectures.

The expansion of renewable energy systems is creating technical and operational challenges in particular, which have consequences for protection and control technology.

The broad range of participants enables an intensive and comprehensive presentation of current technologies and topics, as well as well-founded discussions of upcoming issues.
