Kason Corporation provides free trials of customer-supplied materials on a broad range of screening and fluid bed processing equipment in their fully-equipped test laboratory.
Kason’s test lab screening equipment includes VIBROSCREEN circular vibratory screeners with single and multiple decks for measuring sifting, scalping, classifying, de-dusting, and dewatering performance, while CENTRI-SIFTER centrifugal sifters and separators are also available for sifting, scalping, de-agglomerating, and dewatering tests. Both equipment lines are available for testing both gravity-fed and vacuum/pressurized applications. All lab models feature quick-clean designs for easy access to interior components offering quick inspection, easy disassembly, fast screen changes, and thorough cleaning.
The lab also has full-scale VIBRO-BED fluid bed processing equipment for drying, cooling, and moisturizing tests on bulk solid materials. The VIBRO-BED exclusive circular vibratory design enables entire systems (consisting of fluid bed processors, heaters/coolers/moisturizers, blowers, and dust collectors) to be self-contained on mobile frames with casters, offering testing flexibility not feasible with larger, heavier rectangular units of equivalent capacity.
A full range of hoppers, mechanical and pneumatic conveyors along with flow promotion devices make it possible to replicate nearly any process layout and production scenario within the test laboratory.

Lab technicians at Kason are able to carry out testing on customer samples alongside Kason’s team of applications engineers who then assess test results and compile detailed test reports as well as custom-tailored suggestions for what machinery is best suited to each application scenario.
“Our customers don’t have to be present in order to test the equipment, especially at a time when travel and in-person meetings are not always possible. Virtual lab testing is now available through the use of live streaming and video conferencing software upon request. The process is very easy and provides a great deal of value and insight to our customers in helping them select the best solutions for their processing applications,” added Alamzad.
In addition to free lab testing, Kason also provides screeners for customers to conduct on-site trials at no charge.
