The highlight of the lab is a new test rig dedicated to testing in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE 199-2016. The test rig provides a quantitative method for determining the performance of pulse cleaned filters. The unit feeds dust through a humidity and temperature controlled loop, then into a dust collector with instrumentation that measures differential pressure and fractional efficiency. The test rig is used in the design, construction, and selection of new filter technology. As a leading global provider of innovative filtration technologies and solutions, creating the new Filter Test Lab and Customer Experience Facility is essential to finding the answers for our customer’s biggest challenges.
The Industrial Filter Test Lab will be available for tours during visits as well as customer seminars. Customers will observe the various testing methods conducted across flat media, pleated filtration, finished filter testing methods, and competitive testing.

The Lab will allow for rapid testing of filters and media in product development and competitive analysis. The Industrial Filter Test Lab incorporates testing of flat media, pleated media, finished filter testing as well as a Baghouse Environment Simulation Technology (BEST) tester.
