When used in conjunction with a vacuum convey system, the 14V Bulk Bag Unloader automatically draws pellets, granules or powders from the top of bulk bags, boxes, or drums, minimizing operator involvement. The 14V unloader is compact, allowing it to be used in low headroom installations. Pick-up wand styles can be easily exchanged for handling a wide variety of materials.
The PVS Process Equipment 14v Series Direct from Bag Unloader takes the heavy lifting out of emptying drums or bulk bags. Designed to handle free flowing granules, pellets or powders, this unique design draws the material from the top of the bag automatically. During the unloading operation, the carriage stretches the bag, forcing the material to the center, promoting continuous and complete discharge.
The 14v series unloader features a small foot print allowing the unloader to be utilized in tight spaces or low head room applications. A center mast is fastened in place utilizing a 16” x 16” base plate secured to the floor. The wand actuator, bleed valve and hose connections are bolted to the top of the mast. Smooth bore hose with static conductive wire is utilized to support the stainless steel wand. Adjustable centering rollers eliminate wear on the hose during operation. An inflation collar seals the bag snout or drum liner, containing dust generated from the unloading operation.
