For more than 50 years, Fagus-GreCon has developed solutions in the field of industrial fire protection. Over 75,000 individually planned protection concepts and more than 200,000 safeguarded production areas worldwide underline the company’s experience and technical expertise. The GreCon PROTECTOR continues this path as an intelligent, networked system designed to adapt flexibly to complex production processes and interrupt ignition events before they escalate into fires.
The system integrates four key functional areas: SCOUT for the detection of sparks, glowing particles or overheating, HUNTER for targeted extinguishing, RANGER for fast decentralised signal processing on site, and MISSION CONTROL as the central control unit. This modular architecture enables precise integration into a wide variety of plant sections – from size reduction and conveying to drying, storage and dedusting.
Preventive fire protection is a critical factor in many industries to minimise downtime, consequential damage and interruptions to production. The systems respond within milliseconds, significantly reducing the risk of fires or explosions.
