BinTrac® delivers the latest technology for agriculture and industrial applications with its Batching Control System.

A complete BinTrac bin weighing system includes patented load cells—one for each bin leg—a BinTrac indicator that locally displays real-time weights, a smart summing box, a power supply, and a one-year lightning warranty. The Batching Control System is used in place of the standard indicator, providing current inventory, fill events, and daily usage for up to four bins, plus batch progress, batch history, and batch configuration—all in one controller.

Versatile Controller Configurations

Batching Controls can be configured for single, dual, or triple operations. In agriculture, they are utilized to provide just the right amount of feed to livestock, such as roosters and hens in breeder operations, that require extremely precise portions for maximum yield. In industrial operations, the batch controls dispense dry bulk solids such as wood or plastic pellets, hops for brewing, or other granular materials.

With single batching operations, one target amount is configured. When using dual or triple operations, multiple batches can be set to different target amounts. Dual and triple batching systems can be configured to automatically control the loading or unloading of material, both into or out of inventory storage bins and weigh bins, all the way to its destination. Only one auger system functions at a given time, eliminating the risks of cross-contamination or incorrect batch amounts.

Batches can be pre-programmed and automated or started manually. The controller learns and adjusts from previous batches, ensuring material flow is stopped at just the right moment to achieve the highest degree of accuracy. This reduces the need for on-site labor and manual monitoring.

Feed & Industrial Inventory Anywhere, Anytime

The Batching Control System also allows for remote monitoring of silo status through the cloud-based BinTrac Vision/Mobile platform. It allows users to manage inventory and usage data from anywhere and on any device.

BinTrac Vision also provides days-to-empty forecasts and several months of historical data for graphing and reporting per individual silo, barn, or plant. Automated text and email alerts for fill events and low usage provide peace of mind and prevent the need for emergency deliveries.

BinTrac bin weighing systems ensure inventory precision within a typical accuracy of 1% or better. Manufacturers, food and beverage processors, and agriculture co-ops can know how much material is currently in a bin—and exactly how much leaves the bin—by tracking usage on their indicator or Batching Control System. This achieves cost savings, reduces inventory shrinkage, simplifies end-of-month and year financial reports, and produces robust ROI.

The Best Fit for Your Bins

BinTrac load cells are available for a wide range of weighing capacities, with several leg adapters to fit various bin leg types. Both new and retrofitted bins benefit from simple installation—no cranes, crews, or field calibration required.
