The investment, totaling approximately €8.5 million, concerns a 32-meter-high installation that stands as a modern industrial landmark and integrates advanced production technologies. The facility includes 11 raw material storage silos and is developed across four levels of fully automated operation, forming one of the most advanced mortar production installations in the region.
Within the framework of the project, ACMON Group undertook the complete technological implementation of the facility, contributing to the design, procurement, and integration of all production process systems. Through advanced raw material management systems, industrial automation, and production monitoring and control platforms, the plant ensures precise raw material dosing, reliable equipment operation, and optimal material flow, guaranteeing high efficiency and consistent product quality.
The new unit includes two state-of-the-art mortar production lines, along with modern packaging and automated palletizing lines, reaching a production capacity exceeding 25,000 kg per hour, significantly enhancing production capability and flexibility.
At the same time, the installation incorporates sustainability and energy efficiency principles, utilizing modern automation technologies and digital production management systems. The facility supports Vitex’s strategic development in the fields of construction chemicals and external thermal insulation systems.
ACMON Group’s participation in high-technology projects such as the “Chromopyrgos” confirms its role as a strategic industrial partner for the implementation of integrated industrial facilities, providing solutions that cover the entire spectrum—from engineering design and equipment supply to automation and the digital transformation of industrial operations.
Mr. Apostolos Zaggogiannis – Technical Director of Vitex SA stated:
“The new mortar production facility of Vitex in Aspropyrgos significantly strengthens our production capacity and flexibility, allowing us to serve our customers’ needs even more effectively and comprehensively.
Our collaboration with ACMON Group played a decisive role in the successful implementation of the project.”
