The Golden Waves Grain project, supported by a significant investment from the Foote Family, aims to create approximately 141 full-time jobs and serve as a vital economic anchor for northwest Kansas. The facility will feature a cutting-edge grain milling operation and a large-scale commercial bakery, designed to add value to regional grain production and strengthen domestic food supply chains. It is expected to position northwest Kansas as a regional hub for grain processing and commercial baking, with benefits extending well beyond the local community.
Coperion’s extensive knowledge in bakery and baked goods processes, combined with its advanced systems and technologies will play a crucial role in ensuring the bakery’s operations meet the highest standards of optimized production, quality and efficiency. The equipment supplied by Coperion will enable the facility to produce a wide range of bakery products with precision, supporting regional farmers and contributing to the community’s long-term economic growth. The bakery lines include Coperion technology brands Shick Esteve ingredient handling systems and Peerless mixing technologies.
“This project exemplifies the power of innovative technology and strategic partnerships in building a growing economic future for rural communities,” said Matt Craig, President, Coperion FHN. “We are excited to contribute our expertise to help Golden Waves Grain achieve its vision of strengthening local agriculture and creating high-quality jobs.”
