Process equipment manufacturer Gericke, USA, Somerset, NJ, has introduced on-site pre-engineering studies to help manufacturers optimize their processing operations. Designed for both existing and planned production lines, the studies include a full-day, on-site inspection by a Gericke engineer who assesses current and targeted performance and provides formal recommendations to achieve key goals such as improved throughput, efficiency, line speed, and product quality. The study features a detailed mass balance to identify material losses, verify yield percentages, and uncover inefficiencies at each stage of production and projects both the savings from implementing the expert recommendations and the estimated budget required.

Suitable for food, pet food, nutrition, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other manufacturers, the Gericke pre-engineering studies address every stage in the process in terms of layout efficiency, process instrumentation and monitoring, potential for automation, cost/benefit analysis, and other factors. The recommendations are presented visually as a process flow diagram and as a full-color 3D model showing the processing line in its optimized state.

The pre-engineering studies are offered throughout North America. The studies may be scheduled by emailing sales.us@gerickegroup.com.
