The Pulse-Line(TM) PTA PL pneumatic conveying system from process equipment manufacturer Gericke, USA, Somerset, NJ, features a patented design that keeps mixtures mixed in the required proportions during material transfer. Operating in dense phase, the pneumatic conveyor automatically forms dry, bulk mixtures and blends into separate, pulsed slugs for gentle transfer at low velocities to prevent materials with different material properties from racing ahead or lagging behind. Mixtures exit the conveying system in the same proportions as entered the infeed even when transferring multiple materials with different bulk densities, particle sizes and shapes, and/or other properties that typically cause separation during material transfer.

Ideal for transferring trail mix, nutritional drink blends, seasoning mixes, battery materials, and other dry mixtures, the Gericke powder conveying system applies the optimal air-to-material ratio to gently transfer the mixtures from a silo or bag unloader through the conveying pipeline to discharge. The mixtures reliably discharge into a reactor, tablet press, packaging machine or other location safely, dust-free, and without degradation.

The automated Pulse-Line PTA PL operates unattended in both batch and continuous processes, transfers up to 1,500 feet in mass flow, and may be custom-engineered to suit nearly any bulk material transfer application. Testing is offered in the company’s Somerset, New Jersey, headquarters.
