Sinfimasa has designed a 316 stainless steel tubular screw conveyor prepared to work in ATEX zone 1 (2G), with a 70 mm screw and 80 mm tube, without friction, and driven by a 0.75 kW ATEX-certified geared motor.
All components that may come into contact with the product, such as seals, plastics, grease, etc., are FDA-compliant due to their hygienic, easy-to-clean design.
The product itself is a sticky product, so the inside of the tube is manufactured with a glossy polished (g220) inner surface and an industrial satin matt outer surface.
In accordance with directive 2014/34/EU, equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres must be designed with a view to integrating explosion safety. These protective measures designed and implemented by Sinfimasa are documented in a technical file held by a competent body in order to:
- prevent equipment and protective systems from producing or releasing explosive atmospheres themselves,
- prevent the ignition of explosive atmospheres, taking account of the nature of each electrical or non-electrical source of ignition,
- if an explosion nevertheless occurs which could endanger persons or domestic animals, property by direct or indirect effects, to be able to stop the explosion immediately or to limit the area affected by the flames and the pressure resulting from the explosion to a sufficient level of safety.
The auger instruments (e.g. temperature, rotation, and anti-jamming sensors), the motorization (SEW Atex gas geared motor), and the design of the auger guarantee the suitability of the machine for the area in which it is to be used in accordance with current standards.
