Tom Humphrey realized this when he started BM&M in 1968. An innovator and world class engineer, he designed and patented the original High Speed gyratory screen drive, the heart of each of our machines. Tom resided in the town of Burnaby, located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada and named his company Burnaby Machine and Mill. As our company has evolved, our name has evolved as well to BM&M Screening Solutions Ltd.
BM&M is still proudly owned by the Humphrey family. Tom’s sons Peter and Dave joined Tom in 1975, and today the third generation of Humphreys work in various roles throughout the company.
In 2008 it was time for BM&M to again expand and we broke ground to build a brand new facility. In 2009 we moved to our present headquarters and main manufacturing facility in Surrey, BC, about an hour’s drive from Vancouver International Airport. We also have licensed manufacturing facilities in The Netherlands and in Australia.
Over the years we have grown into a large corporation that serves the feed, grain, wood, minerals and general bulk industries with solutions unique to each industry.
