We, Sachtleben Technology, are your reliable partner for the digitisation of your storage facility. Founded by Severin and Quirin Kraus, who started out working for the Sachtleben Minerals mining group, the two brothers went on to establish Sachtleben Technology as a family enterprise. Didn’t set out to build a software company at first, they intended to solve a recurrent measurement problem that they encountered daily at work in the mine.
After running early OWL EYE® prototypes through three years of dust, vibration, and industrial network reality, they decided to share their knowledge. Today, the same system is used at over 40 industrial sites across Europe, turning this routine into a sales promise. Every component of the OWL EYE® system is field-tested before it is sold — because we were our own first customer.
