One of the main advantages of these aero-conveyors is their low maintenance cost, combined with simple construction and high operational reliability. The aero-conveyors are also available in MOCA and ATEX versions, making them suitable for both food industry applications and environments with potential explosive atmospheres.
Range and Technical Features
COMAV’s range includes three different sizes designed to cover various capacity requirements:
- DN76 with a capacity of approximately 6–10 m³/h
- DN100 with a capacity of approximately 10–15 m³/h
- DN150 with a capacity of up to 25 m³/h
The actual conveying capacity may vary depending on the system configuration, the slow or fast version, and the characteristics of the conveyed material.
The heads are available in several construction options:
- Food-grade aluminum
- Nickel-plated food-grade aluminum
- AISI 304 stainless steel
- AISI 316L stainless steel
The conveying tube can be manufactured in AISI 304L or AISI 316L, ensuring high resistance and compatibility with different industrial sectors.
Regarding the conveying elements:
- In DN76 and DN100 versions, the rope can be made of AISI 304L or AISI 316L
- In the DN150 version, a chain is used, also available in the same materials.
The conveying discs, available for all sizes, can be made of polyurethane or polycarbonate, ensuring reliability and long service life even under intensive operating conditions.
