The company introduces two industrial containment solutions designed to support the safe management of chemical substances and pharmaceutical residues, from processing and transport to final containment.

THIELMANN is expanding its industrial container portfolio with two stainless steel drums developed to meet the safety, durability and compliance requirements of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries: the Tight-Head Drum for Chemical Substances with Tri-Sure® Connections and the Open-Head Drum for Chemical or Pharmaceutical Residues.

Both solutions are designed to provide reliable containment in critical industrial environments, where container integrity, process compatibility and resistance to demanding substances are key operational factors. With this portfolio expansion, THIELMANN strengthens its integrated offering for material management across different operational stages, including storage, transport, processing and residue containment.

The Tight-Head Drum for Chemical Substances with Tri-Sure® Connections is designed for the safe storage and transport of liquid chemicals, solvents, reagents and process fluids. Its tight-head configuration and Tri-Sure® connections enable safe, flexible filling and discharge operations, including compatibility with automated filling lines. Available in volumes from 100 to 230 litres, the drum is manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316 and certified UN 1A1/X/1.8/550.

The Open-Head Drum for Chemical or Pharmaceutical Residues provides a robust and versatile solution for the containment of hazardous solid residues, degraded materials and, in its welded configuration, liquid or highly sensitive residues. Its open-head design enables easy access for the insertion of inner containers or direct residue transfer, while closure can be achieved using a clamp ring with EPDM or VITON gasket, or by welding for a permanent hermetic seal.

Manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304, with AISI 316L available on request, the open-head drum provides corrosion resistance, structural integrity and long-term safety in chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial applications. The model is certified for solids as UN 1A2/X/440/S and, in its welded configuration for liquids, can be certified as UN 1A2/X/1.8/200.

With these two solutions, THIELMANN offers a unified stainless steel drum portfolio for chemical and pharmaceutical applications, combining safety, operational flexibility and international regulatory compliance. The range addresses the needs of companies requiring reliable industrial containers for critical substances, from initial filling to final disposal.

As a global specialist in stainless steel containers, THIELMANN continues to develop solutions designed to maximise operational safety, protect product integrity and optimise the management of complex substances in demanding industrial environments.
