Its narrow profile of less than 2 in (50 mm) flange-to-flange height makes installation practical even where space is limited, while its carbon steel body and frame resist abrasion, wear, and corrosion for dependable, long-term service. A PTFE-treated bonnet seal cartridge provides a dust-tight seal with extended service life, significantly outperforming the soft rubber seals found in traditional maintenance gates.
The gate pairs 304 stainless steel material-contact surfaces with a durable carbon steel structure, and standard sizes range from 6–20 in (150–510 mm) in square, round, or rectangular openings, with material temperature capability up to 400°F (205°C) with modifications. Actuation options include a double-acting air cylinder, hand wheel, crank, or chain wheel, and the gate complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
