Multiflux® GMS mixers from process equipment manufacturer Gericke, feature proprietary, double shaft mixing technology that gently mixes and blends without excess heat or shear to protect delicate protein additions from degradation. Proven in mixing recipes with pea protein, whey protein, soy protein, rice protein, collagen, and other protein additions, the batch mixers automatically combine multiple powders and liquids to meet the required homogeneity within 30 seconds. Concern for denaturing, clumping, or loss of functional properties is virtually eliminated, even when adding proteins in quantities below 0.01 percent.

Suitable for food, dairy, pet food, nutrition, and other manufacturers developing new products and/or reformulating existing products for increased protein content, the Gericke mixers include stainless steel construction with polished internals in a hygienic design that meets FDA and GMP requirements for sanitary processing. An oversized entry door invites full access to the entire interior for fast, complete cleaning.

Testing on a GMS Multiflux mixer with a variety of proteins is offered in the company’s New Jersey test laboratory. Tests may be shown via live stream, video conferencing, online video or live in person at the test facility.
