The product itself isn’t changing. Simatek has been building this style of elevator since 1981, and the current design with the patented Drum Feeder has been in production since 2012. The only change is the name. SBS stands for Simatek Bulk Systems. PenduLift describes what the equipment does.
At the center of every SBS PenduLift is Simatek’s patented Drum Feeder, which meters product directly into each bucket individually. Because the buckets don’t overlap, bucket guides are eliminated along with the wear parts and maintenance that come with them. The system is designed for spill-free operation and is available in powder coated carbon steel, stainless steel, and galvanized steel on select models.
“The name is changing, but the technology isn’t,” said Jakob Jensen, Key Account Manager at Simatek Bulk Systems A/S. “SBS PenduLift is the same elevator our customers already know.”
All SBS PenduLift systems continue to be engineered and manufactured in Høng, Denmark. The name is new. The engineering, experience, and commitment behind it remain the same.
