The proprietary Helix screw design provides smooth, efficient feeding for materials with light bulk densities such as carbon black, cocoa powder, and fly ash without bridging, ratholing, or generating dust. The Helix with Center Shaft screw offers a powerful rotating action designed to consistently feed heavier materials such as salt, corn meal, and PVC resin, while the Full Flight screw offers a hygienic design that eliminates any potential metal-to-metal contact. The feeder screws support flow rates from 20 l/h to 3600 l/h.
The FEEDOS M may be tested with the different feed screws on fully operating process equipment in the company’s New Jersey test laboratory. The automated powder feeder is delivered ready for installation with a one-year warranty.
