Course presenter, Dr Vivek Garg has been helping companies involved in the manufacture of batteries to better understand the problems encountered when handling and storing these bulk materials and has used this to create a bespoke course for the industry.
During the course he will cover the subjects of
- Basics in operation, design and specification of hoppers, silos, bins and bunkers,
- An introduction to the storage and flow of bulk solid materials
- Feeders and feeding
- Hopper discharge aids
- Prediction of discharge rates focussing on battery materials.
