The Gericke GUC-F Universal Feeder Controller from process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA features a proprietary design configuration that is compatible with nearly every type of manufacturing automation software in use worldwide.

Suitable for installation in fully and partially automated processes, the GUC-F Universal Feeder Controller seamlessly integrates with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) automation software, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) process control software, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Setup and installation move fast and easily without requiring access to advanced programming capabilities.

Devised to help food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other manufacturers improve bulk material feeding accuracy and efficiency, the GUC-F Universal Feeder Controller automates control over weighing, dosing, and feeding of powders, pellets, mixtures, and other dry bulk materials. Up to four feeders on up to four different processing lines may be controlled, monitored, and adjusted from a single HMI screen. The Gericke GUC-F is delivered preconfigured for smooth integration with the existing automated manufacturing software while potential software updates, upgrades, and expanded capabilities may be provided securely over-the-air.

The automated feeder control system may be installed with new feeders or retrofit onto existing Gericke feeders. Testing is offered in the company’s New Jersey test laboratory to verify performance.
