Each valve is manufactured with aluminum body parts with optional stainless steel construction for hygienic processing areas. Stainless steel screws are used to combat corrosion. The AD valve can be utilized in a wide range of applications ranging from an outlet valve for silos, bins, hoppers and chutes to controlling discharge from sifters, ribbon mixers and double cone blender outlets. Material handling up to 100 pounds per cubic foot is achievable.
Construction
- All body parts are manufactured from aluminum
- The Control Ring (Handle) for sizes up to and including 200mm diameter are Gunmetal. For valve sizes greater than 200mm diameter are produced in Aluminum/Zinc
- 316 stainless steel screws are used to combat corrosion
- Sizes 380mm and 450mm have hand wheel operation as standard
