Standardization of the Granupack 2020 The bulk density, the tapped (or tap) density and the Hausner ratio measurement is very popular for powder characterization because of both the simplicity and the rapidity of the measurement. Granutools developed a unique, precise, automated & user independent way of measuring these parameters as well as the packing dynamics thanks to the N1/2 parameter (Characteristic tap number). We received numerous requests from our customers asking us if we could add the possibility of making standard measurements as per US & EU Pharmacopeia and ISO/ASTM standards. We are happy to announce that we listened to them and the Granupack now meet the following standards: US, EU, Japanese & Chinese Pharmacopeia. (USP <616> EP <2.9.34-3> JP <3.01> ChP 2020, section 4, Chapter 0993, Page 152) ASTM B527, ASTM D7481−18, ASTM D4164, ASTM D4781, ISO 787-11, ISO 3953, ISO 8460 ISO 8967, ISO 9161.
