Founded in 1944, family-owned Anderson-Crane Company is on a roll. This manufacturer of grain conveyor systems is growing faster, and buying faster equipment to keep up with the growth of their company and making plans to double the size of their factory that’s located in Litchfield, MN.
Their growth is coming from the rush of new orders from breweries, taconite mills and animal-feed mills in the US, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh and Trinidad. Due to their growth, the shop has recently purchased a high-tech water-jet cutter made by Jet Edge of St. Michael. This will replace their jagged-edged plasma metal cutter that caused them to spend more time on refinishing parts.
