Fox Valve manufactures Fox venturi eductors, ejectors, and venturi flow controls for industry, including solids-conveying eductors, air ejectors, steam ejectors, liquid eductors, and multi-stage vacuum systems. Fox has supplied these products to industry, aerospace, and research since 1961.
Fox Venturi Eductors are used to pneumatically convey all kinds of bulk solids, without moving parts.
They require only low pressure air (less than 15 psig / 1 bar), and eliminate the need for rotary valves in positive pressure dilute-phase conveying systems, and so eliminate the maintenance, blow-back and danger associated with rotary airlocks.
Fox Venturi Eductors are excellent for conveying not just commonly used materials but also hot, abrasive, fragile, heavy, very light, or problematic materials.
Fox Eductor conveying systems are capable of rates of up to 20 tons per hour, depending on product and distance. Conveying distances of more than 200 m are common, but at much lower convey rates.
Typical Fox Eductor system convey line sizes range from 1 inch (25mm), to 10 inch (250mm).
Fox Valve typically supplies eductors together with blowers, as an engineered/performance guaranteed package.
In this way the customer has one point of responsibility for the conveying process.
