Cross belt tripper product escape

We have a series of conveyors that feed at 4.8m/s with approximately 1000 tons per hour. These conveyors feed to cross belt trippers that can be moved over a series of open bin tops for silos.

The silo openings are raised edges where the tripper car fits over them exactly and uses skirting arrangements to contain any product or dust.

We continually have product escape from under the skirts, we have tried different material, different thickness, lapping the joints on straight sections, corners and even using a single piece of skirt to go all around the edges of the tripper.

Can anyone suggest a method to prevent the product loss from under the tripper skirts?

Slightly more info:

The trippers feed into the bins through a square opening, the skirts are also installed in a square shape but they are approximately 100mm outside the feed. So it looks like a square within a square – hope this makes sense – I have photos if I can upload them anywhere?

Thanks in advance.
