Lorenz Maintenance Gates are ideal for mounting above airlocks or below bins and hoppers that require periodic shutdown. Utilized for dilute phase, vacuum and gravity applications conveying dry bulk product. Maintenance Gates are utilized in many industries: Chemical, Grain Milling, Food & Pet Food, Plastics & Packaging, Minerals, and anything dry bulk.
Maintenance Gates are manufactured in either a square or round configuration.
Round Maintenance Gate have a true round flange eliminating heavy and expensive square to round fittings on a Square Gate. Standard flange patterns are offered but both models can be adapted to mate with your specific flange pattern.
Gates are constructed with fully lined polymer liners. Available in Hand Crank, Hand Wheel or Chain Wheel actuation. These gates have a narrow profile and lightweight aluminum frame construction. Constant pressure woven Teflon seals on the blade. Polished stainless steel blades are standard construction. Rated up to 82ºC (180ºF).
