ALVIBRA Vibratory Conveying

ALVIBRA Vibratory Conveying
5 Aug 2024  |
Alvibra stands for vibratory -screening, -feeding and -conveying primarily – however we are also very keen to enter projects that include more features, difficult challenges and custom requirements.

Here’s an example of how Alvibra solved specific conveying challenges combined by a hot sticky product, a tight layout requiring inclined product transport, long distance conveying, food safety and cleanability.

To reduce product sticking to surface, it was discovered that if the conveyor was kept 80°C warm during operation, the product would stick less. Consequently an oil heating system was integrated in the conveyor trough bottom. Furthermore, lids was integrated to keep product warm during the 8 meter long transport and to reduce moist evacuation into the open room.

Inclined Vibratory Conveyor, powered by VibraDrive® for good and silent long distance vibratory transport. Designed with heated conveyor bottom, hinged lids and electropolished product contact zone.

An almost 8 meter long inclined smooth transport was required, to bring the product from the extruder outlet, to the higher positioned crusher inlet.

Several tests showed that a powerful vibration and a specific vibratory drive system was needed. The Alvibra patented VibraDrive® system can ensure very long conveying distances (10 m, 20 m or more) and at the same time offer a good vibration by long strokes. It is at the same time a very silent vibration system, which is of high importance to the operators in today’s plants.

The conveyor is designed in AISI316 stainless and has electropolished product contact surfaces to ease the cleaning and reduce product sticking.
