Initially formed to manufacture Rotary Airlocks, Rotolok has broadened its base in complementary areas of powder and bulk solids handling technology. Additional products manufactured include Conveying Diverters, Blowing Seals, Kleanlok Hygienic Airlocks, Fabricated & Cast Slide Gates, Gravity Diverters, Weigh Valves, Plug Diverters, Double Dumps, Rotoflex & Slimflex Valves, Butterfly Dampers, Rotospeed Switch, Screw Conveyors, Screw Feeders, FIBC Discharge & Filling Stations, Bag & Sack Dump Stations all available in standard ranges as well as specials to suit client needs.
Rotolok can offer a complete range of Rotary Valves certified as Ex II D, suitable for use as an explosion barrier to a maximum of 10bar and for explosion isolation for St1 and St2 dusts. Twelve different inlet sizes are available between 85 and 600mm, with Round or Square connection flanges, in Cast Iron or Stainless Steel.
This is in addition to our range of Rotary Valves certified as Ex II 1 GD c T4 135°C, suitable for use in Hazardous Zones, which covers thirteen sizes between 85 and 750mm with Round connection flanges and twelve sizes between 125 and 915mm with Square connection flanges, all in Cast Iron or Stainless Steel.
Our standard range of valves is rated as Group II Category 1 Equipment suitable for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres covered by European Directive 94/9/EC and can be used in hazardous Dust or Gas environments with internals designated up to Zone 0 or 20 and externals to Zone 1 or 21 in accordance with DSEAR.
In some applications it may be possible to supply equipment certified to cover both Hazardous Area and Barrier requirements.
