The small-scale circuits can be configured as the small ball mill, jet mill or air classifier systems. The process capacity is typically in the range of few kg per hour, which provides a significant flexibility regarding test work with small material portions, different settings and operating parameters. The ball mill system can also simulate conditions in large grinding mills by setting a required process temperature up to 150 deg. C.
Finally, the particle size distribution can be measured at the outlet by an on-line analyser providing constant size control of the produced particles. This measurement can be done on all streams in the system like the feed to the mill or classifier, final product, as well as the classifier coarse fraction. All parameters are registered in the system and can be exported to XL after testing via Internet connection to any user.
