HDMF Dairy Valves Safeguard Rotor and Housing During Maintenance

HDMF Dairy Valves Safeguard Rotor and Housing During Maintenance
13 Dec 2022  |
USDA-certified rotary valves from process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA, Somerset, NJ, feature a new, tapered bore design that prevents contact between the rotor and housing when the rotor is being extracted. Replacing the traditional straight line design, the tapered bore rotary valves eliminate the potential for metal to metal contact during rotor removal for inspection, cleaning and maintenance, and during reinsertion for safe, smooth, and fast return to service.

Ideal for food, dairy, nutrition, and other manufacturers concerned with hygienic production, the new design is included as standard on the Gericke HDMF dairy line of rotary valves. The line of rotary airlock valves features stainless steel construction with polished internals and externals and earned the USDA certification for complying with USDA Guidelines for the Sanitary Design and Fabrication of Dairy Processing Equipment.

The rotary valves may be tested at the company’s New Jersey test center and monitored in person or via online livestream. The valves are delivered inspected and ready for installation with a one-year warranty included as standard.
