Our screw feeders are modular in design and though they are available as standard, cost-effective base models, a variety of additional upgrades can be installed upon request including sanitary contact parts and quick-release, easy-clean features, suited for equipment used in food and pharmaceutical applications. Whether moving very fine powders, harsh materials or large particles, Trantec’s equipment can be easily configured to seamlessly integrated into the most challenging processes. Selection of the correct powder handling equipment is essential for achieving optimum performance and accuracy. Trantec offer a free, comprehensive product testing service to all our clients. Upon completion of testing, we will provide you with a report, detailing our findings and our recommendations for trouble free feeding/conveying. In-keeping with Trantec’s policy of continual development, we now offer custom-made auger manufacture as part of our service. Often replacement parts need to come from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) who charges a premium for such a bespoke component. Our investment in the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM), together with our experienced design engineers means reproducibility can be easily achieved and fractions of a millimetre in accuracy can be maintained across batches. This, along with minimal human intervention during production, means we can produce replacement auger screws at a fraction of the cost of the OEM.
