The Powder Flow Tester in the standard configuration uses 263cc of the sample. For the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry, an optional 43cc smaller shear cell is available. Wall friction lids are supplied in a standard 304 s/s but can be made of any material a customer may require replicating their hopper material of construction.
Brookfield’s Powder Pro Software (included) allows for easy collection of data for characterization and specification. New product development and characterization of existing products are easily supported. Virtually any bulk solid can be tested including pharmaceuticals, foods, seasonings, flavorings, chemicals, powdered beverages, personal care, cleansers, and detergents.
