5 Oct 2021  |
Offering scalable benchtop, high-performance dry granulation, The Fitzpatrick Company, the most trusted name in roller compaction technology for more than 70 years is pleased to announce the launch of their new LCS – Lab Compaction System, a low-volume benchtop model for R&D and trial batch production.

With capacities ranging from 10g to 6 kg/hr, the new LCS is ideal for proof-of-concept work or for the smallest volume production.

Manufactured with Fitzpatrick’s high-precision, twin feed screw system, the LCS processes powders using the same mechanism as larger production-scale systems. This capability ensures your development projects can progress to production with confidence. The available 20 kN/cm roll pressure is equivalent to production-scale systems and matches the requirement for most pharmaceutical blends. The Unit features touchpad control of all independent feed and compaction variables

Complete disassembly of all contact parts enables thorough cleaning that is quick and easy.

The LCS is optionally available for containment systems. Documentation is available for cGMP validation. The LCS has a choice of roller styles for maximum processing flexibility.

For over 80 years, The Fitzpatrick Company has consistently achieved powder processing innovation excellence. They have designed, manufactured, and supplied the CCS & IR range of roller compactors as well as FitzMill™ milling equipment & hammer mills, to the pharmaceutical, chemical and food sectors – worldwide.

They are committed to improving the performance and profitability of their customers’ powder processing operations. They continually invest in customer-driven innovative solutions and provide long-term global support via their highly technical customer service and spare parts network.
