Offered as a complete system inclusive of Integral Feeding and Dissolving Systems, Acrison Dual Silo Systems can be used to reduce the overall height profile of a single high-rate application, or can feed two different chemicals to one or more application points. The silos are typically mounted close enough to each other so that a single ladder with safety harness system provides access to one silo roof, with a catwalk providing access to the second roof.
A single truck-fill panel operates both systems, fill lines are routed to a single loading point, and a security keypad, wired to automatic valves on the fill line, ensures that dry chemicals are being delivered to the correct silo. Means for promoting material flow into the silo’s integral feeders is provided strictly on an as-needed basis and without the use of air, eliminating flushing issues and problems that can occur when flow promotion devices operate strictly on a fixed cycle. Available options include custom control packages and other ancillary equipment. All silo controls, along with necessary piping and wiring, are located inside the skirted silo, requiring minimal installation of some external components prior to operation.
