Zeppelin Systems Showcased at the SOLIDS Trade Fair 2023

4 May 2023  |
How are granules, powders and other high-quality bulk materials efficiently stored, mixed, transported, dosed, weighed, distributed, processed and analyzed?

Needless to say, the best way to do this is with solutions from the Friedrichshafen- based plant manufacturer Zeppelin Systems! From March 29 to 30, the company presented itself together with the owner-managed company Magdalena KITZMANN GmbH (Zeppelin Systems holds a majority stake) at SOLIDS in Dortmund. The key message at the trade show: As a system supplier with over 30 years of experience in the industry, Zeppelin Systems, in collaboration with KITZMANN, offers the ideal solution for every customer challenge along the process chain in bulk material handling.

Every year, the renowned SOLIDS trade show attracts scores of national and international customers from the chemical, plastics and food industries. For Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN, this year’s bulk materials event in Dortmund therefore offers the perfect opportunity to simultaneously win over several industries with its broad product and service portfolio for material handling. This includes everything from mixers to silos, components in pneumatic conveyor plants, smart control concepts to the production of turnkey plants and after-sales service. “As an experienced plant manufacturer, we have worked in a wide range of industries for many years, are familiar with our customers’ needs and have the right solution for every challenge,” says Dr. Markus Vöge, CEO of Zeppelin Systems GmbH. Thanks to Zeppelin Systems’ and KITZMANN’s optimal process, machine and plant design, customers not only save time and money, they also achieve measurable increases in production. “In addition to high-quality products, our customers benefit from comprehensive technical consulting services. In particular, product tests and our expertise in planning and installing plants in potentially explosive areas make Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN unique,” adds Nico Gräfe, Managing Director of KITZMANN. The Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN partnership offers a symbiosis that is one-of-a-kind worldwide with regard to in-house production depth. To consistently and sustainably meet the high quality demands of our customers, we manufacture process plants as well as mixers, silos and components in-house. Optionally, we can also realize the control system and the switch cabinet construction in-house. Furthermore, Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN maintain control over a large part of the supply chains themselves. This has an extremely positive effect on punctuality, quality and reliability.

Friedrichshafen-based plant manufacturer Zeppelin Systems underlines the customer and service promise “We Create Solutions” by continuously adapting and further developing its products. In addition to the optimized DVV two-channel diverter valve, examples of this include the improved DFM 240 rotary valve or an even more powerful rotary sieving machine. Zeppelin Systems is also setting standards in the field of mixing technology, combining its many years of expertise with the technical and technological expertise of its acquired companies Henschel and MTI. In addition to intensive, container and horizontal mixers, the portfolio also includes heating/cooling mixer combinations. All mixers offer excellent product and result quality, high efficiency levels and modular adaptability. When it comes to silos, Zeppelin Plant Engineering stands out with its Smart Storage Solutions and the innovative Bolt-Tec system. Silos are bolted together on site at the customer’s premises, thus eliminating the need for welding at the construction site. The segments are manufactured in an innovative and climate-friendly manner using friction stir welding technology. Installation costs are also possible with simple, subsequent volume expansion for a capacity of up to 1,000 cubic meters as standard. “As an integrated solution provider in plant engineering, we find the right process, machine, components, or turnkey plant engineering solution for every industry, sector or customer challenge,” says Hubert Stojanovic, Vice President Performance Materials at Zeppelin Systems GmbH.
