Whether in research or in production - product changes in feeding devices are often associated with delays due to lengthy empty runs and time-consuming cleaning. The Quick-Change feeding devices from Three-Tec offer a remedy.

Three-Tec offers an extensive product range of different feeding devices with which a wide variety of materials can be precisely fed. From the smallest quantities from 5 g per hour up to several tons with screw diameters from 5 mm to 80 mm. All devices are manufactured in-house at the company site in Seon AG, Switzerland. This means that the highest quality requirements can be met and devices can be manufactured precisely according to customer specifications.

The feeding devices of the Quick-Change line have been explicitly designed for fast, contamination-free product changes. The connections between the hopper, gearbox, lid and discharge pipe are designed with quick-release fasteners and enable tool-free disassembly and assembly of all components that come into contact with the product in the shortest possible time. By simply loosening the quick-release rings, the hopper can be removed in one piece together with the feeding screws and the discharge aid or bridge breaker. This means that the hopper does not have to be emptied for a product change. A second hopper can be fitted so that a different product can be fed immediately and without cleaning. This significantly reduces the downtime of the appliances and eliminates the risk of contamination due to product mixing.

The Quick-Change devices are available in various versions as single or twin-screw feeding devices with volumetric or gravimetric feeding. They are particularly suitable for dosing poorly flowing powders and micro granulates with flow values of ffc.
