SAXONBURG, PA – Pulva Corp., a manufacturer of pulverizers and cryogenic feeders for applications in food and spice processing, and cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and chemical production, has begun to fabricate stainless steel rotors featuring weldless construction.
The one-piece rotors, made of 316 stainless steel, are unique to the industry and provide longer wear life due to having no welds in the material and no porosity. They also make it easier than ever for customers to remove, clean and re-install rotors between production runs.
“We are pleased to be providing established and new customers alike with components that help them minimize downtime and optimize productivity,” says Brad Gray, Pulva’s sales manager. “This latest addition to our product line is another example of how we’ve continually helped customers improve their operating efficiencies for almost 80 years.”
Pulva Corporation engineers and manufactures pulverizers, cryogenic feeders, auxiliary equipment and replacement parts for applications in the food and spice processing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries worldwide. The company also offers a full range of services, including rebuilding and reconditioning, toll grinding, testing and R&D. The company was founded nearly 80 years ago and is located in Saxonburg, PA, 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
